ElMicLab was actively participated in the 35th Panhellenic Conference on Solid State Physics & Materials Science (virtual), which was organized by the National Centre for Scientific Research “Demokritos” and was held from 26-29 September 2021!
The presence of ElMicLab was numerous with the Professors, PhD Candidates, Postgraduate and Undergraduate Students of the laboratory presenting oral and poster presentations. Specifically, the members participated with the invited lecture of the director of the laboratory Prof. Philomela Komninou, 4 oral and 7 poster pesentations by the students.
Special mention must be made PhD student Isaac Vassiliadis for his work on “Interfacial strain phenomena in ultra-thin InGaN / GaN quantum wells” which received the “Best Student Poster Presentation” in memory of the outstanding scientist Prof. Efstathios Polychroniadis.
